Pinspired: 5 Minute Headband Curls

So I saw this picture on pinterest and it got me wondering if this trick would work on my straight-as-a-board fine hair.



Normally, I spend at least an hour curling my hair with a curling iron. But the minute I step outside its like I never curled my hair at all.

I love the beachy effortless wavy look but with my hair it either looks too curly q-ish or crimped.
This is the desired look.



I used this YouTube video to create the look.


I meant to take a picture earlier in the day when my curls were much more noticeable but I still like the hint of waviness rather than my every day straight boring hair.
