It's Friday, I'm in Love!

Doesn't reading the Title make you want to sing the song from The Cure? Love that song and I'll also tell you what I'm loving this week.

Noah actually stopped me the other day and said, "don't you ever stop looking at stuff to buy?"

I just smiled back and said, "nope" :) Can't a girl dream?

Before my hubby rudely interrupted... Where was I? Oh yeah, so this week I'm loving:

Green cargo pants. Cute for fall, no?

While we are at it, this green cargo jacket. I need something casual and easy that will go with anything!

Gingham button up. This one in red is cute. I know old navy has some right now. I'd also like a blue one like this one.

Black jeans. I saw some at Target this past weekend that I really like. It's black denim with a stripe of faux leather down the sides. Ahh. I need them!

Boyfriend button up. I like how she wore this in buttoned and over a plain white T. My kind of weekend outfit for the fall! Or wear it like Mary-Kate Olsen.

Monogrammed necklace. Loving all things monogrammed lately. Simple and I can wear for an every day outfit!

I am a Follower

I have been following several blogs since I started my own. I love it when I come across a great one. I like to read about different family dynamics, fashion, cooking, you name it. It's like reading my favorite magazine!

So I thought I'd share a few of my favorites with you!

1. Lisa Leonard Blog. I first came across her blog because every Wednesday she posts a "What I Wore" entry that I like looking at. She has cute style and she's a busy mom so it style that is suitable for the every day woman. She tags the clothes she buys too so if you like a piece you where she bought it from and it's usually in my price range! But she has an awesome family life and I love reading about it! Is that weird that i like reading about a complete stranger? Oh well, I'm weird, so be it! She also has a jewelry shop that sells really unique pieces!

2. In Lisa's What I Wore posts she links up with the originator of this concept. This lead me to follow another mom and cute business owner, Lindsey! She sells handmade accessories that are very cute! She also has fun entries on her family, DIY projects, and practical outfits. You can follow her at thepleatedpoppy.com!

3. My next favorite blog is Joy's Hope. I first stumbled across her blog during a very difficult time in my life when we miscarried with our first pregnancy. But my story no where near compared to Julie's. It made me cry reading about her journey. But her journey had a very happy ending and I absolutely love reading her blog. She has the most precious family and her posts often make me laugh out loud. Hers is a must read!

I've been delving into a lot of fashion blogs lately too. I like the ones that offer choices I can afford and sometimes pull out of my own closet. They inspire me to put together pieces I wouldn't think to put together. I also like practical outfits and not fufu ones you would see on a runway or ones you would look ridiculous in or pay ridiculous prices for. Here are my top fashion blogs I follow on a daily basis:
Kendi Everyday
Lily's Style
Hello Fashion
Perfection Possibilities
Cupcakes and Cashmere
Putting Me Together

So there you go, because I know you were dying to know!

I wonder if anyone reads my blog? Hahaha!

Thank you fans :)

It's the Little Things...

It's the little things that make me realize how old I really am.

Well first off, when my sister sends me a first day of school picture of my nephew and niece. Alex is in the 8th grade and Camille is in the 2nd grade. How did this happen? I was in high school when Alex was born and he'll be high school next year!

Monet, my other niece is driving, has a job, and will be graduating high school this school year!

Alyssa, the first grandkid of our family started her first day of college the other day. Crazy! I feel like I just graduated college just yesterday! Sadly, it's been 6 years!

But more than any of these things, what makes me most emotional about getting older is the little milestones my babies are hitting at a rapid pace!

Ava is learning to use the potty and she is talking more and more like a little adult.

Lily is gaining more independence everyday. She is pulling up on everything, crawling all over the place, and is learning to feed herself.

I'm glad I still have a couple of years before Ava starts school and still many more years when they still need me :) I certainly need them! My loves, my reason for living.

Heart Sweater

I don't know why I've had such a thing for hearts lately.

I've been in love with this J. Crew heart sweater since I laid eyes on it but I was not in love with the price. Lucky for me this trend is catching on.

I recently found a similar sweater at Old Navy for a much more reasonable price ($25)! It's shipped and on its way to me now! Can't wait!

And then just last week I found another one from Target! I'm debating if I should buy it too. The colors are cute and I like the way the heart is positioned! Decisions!

Time Needs to Slow Down!

Everyday I feel as if my life is just flashing by. My girls are a constantly reminding me of that. They are both at such different stages and I just want to soak it all in.

Just a brief summary on what's going on in both their worlds:

Ava- 29 months old:
Ava is like a sponge. She is constantly saying stuff and we are always asking ourselves, "where did that come from?". For example. I was cutting up and apple for her the other day and she came up to me and instead of saying the usual thank you she says gracias! It takes us by surprise and we laugh usually. She's such a smart little girl. The latest thing she knows is her birthday. You ask her and she'll say "march seventeen!" She is in the beginnings of potty training. She's had lots of successful #1's and a few not so successful #1's. No #2's yet. She likes to wear dresses and enjoys dancing and singing to all her shows on TV. She loves her daddy.

Lily- 8 months old:
Her most recent milestone reached? Crawling! She's not that fast but I'm sure in no time she'll be crawling all around the house. She has the funniest little laugh. She can shake her head no. She's obsessed with paper. She likes to tear it up loves to stick it in her mouth. Well actually everything ends up in her mouth. She's so feisty and has a temper! She's also obsessed with me! I can't leave the room without her crying for me.

It's Friday I'm in Love!

What am I in love with this Friday you ask?

1. These fun crainium wrap bracelets from Bauble Bar!

2. These blue suede shoes for the perfect pop of color!

3. I'm in search for a green cargo vest. Old navy has one right now but my size is sold out, boo!

4. Leopard print sunnies! I have had my sun glasses for 6 or so years now and I love how fun these are!

5. Speaking of animal print, I'm hoping Target still has these grey cheetah print jeans! Love how she paired this with the fun pink top.

6. Lace and chevron? Yes, please!

7. A white Oxford button-up. Classic and I don't know why I don't own one.

8. Stella & Dot's renegade bracelet. I don't know which one I want more silver or gold!

9. These rose gold pyramid studs. Also from Stella & Dot! Just the bit of edge I was looking for :)
