Hi guys! Happy hump day! Welcome to another wiww! Want fun fashion inspiration? Join the wiww link-up and you'll be so glad!

Let's see how I did this week!

I can always count on Forever 21 for cheap thrills and trendy pieces! Like this blouse and necklace for example. This necklace was $3.80! I love the gold buttons on this bright blouse!

Friday Family Fun: Disney Jr. Live!

How's everyone's weekend been? So sad that Sunday night sneaks up on us every time! We took the girls to see Sofia, the First! She's a princess character on Disney Jr. She's been a hit at our house with both Ava and Lily. The show featured Jake and the Neverland Pirates too (Ava's not a fan of them though, lol). But we did get some cameos from Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, Doc McStuffins, and Peter Pan! We had a great night.

The girls were dressed and ready to go to the show. Ava had been so excited all week asking constantly when she could go see Sofia.

This was our first time taking Lily to a live show. She did well overall but became very restless toward the end of the show.

 Waiting outside before the show.

Family shot :)

Sofia, the First!

After the show, Ava kept saying she had a great time. We bought her a glowing necklace and she was beaming saying she was so beautiful! It was adorable. We walked to City Market after the show and had ice cream. It was a fun night. Love nights like that!

Vacation Style

I have vacation on the brain right now and I still have a month to go until I am able to go on it. But the reason I am so excited about this vacation is because it's the first trip my best friends are all going on together! We've talked about going on vacation together before but with all of our busy schedules and lives it's never happened!

So with vacation on the brain, I'm already thinking about what I'm going to wear! My number one criteria for packing is comfort. Especially now that I have small kids it's important to be comfortable. But don't get me wrong, what girl doesn't want to look cute?

I'm sharing my vacation style with you. I found these photos off the wonderful Pinterest of course, always a trusty source for outfit inspiration.

Love this look.  Denim cut-offs, basic tee, and a drape-y cardigan with sandals

printed shorts, mixed prints, chambray, fun accessories, hat, and tennies. Perfection!

Pleated maxi dress with a fun necklace.

You can't go wrong with denim skinnies, tank top, and colorful flats. And I love this necklace!

both of these nautical looks are super cute and casual.

Leggings are a girl's best friend! I am obsessed with this colorful print! I love the other touches of red in her sunnies, heels, and clutch!

What is your vacation style?

What I Wore Wednesday {wiww}

Hi friends, last week I didn't have a free minute to pick up my laptop to write any posts and I wasn't able to join in on the link-up :(

Here are my outfits from last week.

I was so excited to get this necklace in the mail from Very Jane but was instantly sad when it was in three broken pieces :( They sent me another one and this time all was in tact! Yay! It's such a colorful piece and a fun choice for the summer!

Ten Years

Noah and I are celebrating a big milestone. We have been together for 10 years today. In these ten years we have made so many memories. It's kind of a big year for us. It's also our 5 year wedding anniversary too!

I met Noah while I was in my freshman year of college. He lived in Virginia and was a good friend of my cousin. We started talking over AIM, haha. Anyone remember the good ole' AOL instant message beginnings? noodles123 and juls0284...

I visited Virginia with my family and Noah and I hung out one night before deciding we were going to plunge into long distance dating! I was attending college at the University of Georgia at the time and he was working in Virginia. We took turns driving back and forth every two weeks! We did that for 2 1/2 years!

After graduating I moved to Virginia and worked there for about 2 years. We moved into a place together. We bought our first dog. We were engaged November 2007. We got married August 2008 . I got a job back in Georgia and we moved.

Its been an eventful 5 years of marriage so far. We bought a house, bought cars, had two beautiful babies.

I love my life and I am so happy to be able to share it with Noah. He is my calming and reasonable half. I could not imagine a better dad for our girls. It's been a fun ride so far full of wonderful moments. I can't wait for all the things to come for us still.

Happy Anniversary to us!

Green with Envy

I know you were looking forward to my usual wiww post but this week I thought it would be fun to "copy-cat" outfits I've seen on Pinterest. I love this casual look and the pop of green.

(via)

Outfit Details:
Pants: Local Boutique in the mall
Shirt: Joe Fresh via JcPenney
Cardigan: New York and Company
Necklace: Rebel Pendant by Stella & Dot
Sandals: Nine West

These green pants don't have a belt loop so I improvised. This was a comfortable outfit to wear to work. and I've received so many compliments on my low wedge ankle strap sandals. It was a good thing I decided to wear this outfit yesterday because I slept at the hospital all night long. (Long story, but my mom was rushed to the ER and later the ICU for a bad infection. She's doing better now, but now just waiting on doctor to propose possible gallbladder surgery.)

Hope you are having a better day than the last couple of days I've been having!

Rockin' Color Block and Blue Suede Shoes

I love finding inspiration everywhere for new outfits to wear. I found this picture on Pinterest and loved the color blocking and splash of blue. I don't have these exact pieces but its fun finding ways to make a similar outfit with what's already in your closet.

I love how J from J's Everyday Fashion (here) does this in her blog. She posts inspiration pics along with her outfits and I love to see how she interprets each style.

Outfit details:
Shirt and Pants: New York and Company Outlet
Heels: Vince Camuto
Necklace: Very Jane
Watch: Michael Kors
Bracelets: Stella & Dot

This was fun! I think I'll try this all week! What do you guys think?

Summer Shorts

Last weekend, I stumbled upon a pair of printed shorts. The print is floral and it reminds me of the water colors. Its a fun pair for the summer. Below I have styled them for day and night.

Day Outfit: This is a relaxed outfit. I like the gold in the polka dot top and I'd probably leave the chambray shirt unbuttoned.

Night Outfit: I love this delicate and girly tank top to pair with these shorts. I added wedges because it dresses the shorts up a bit. I, of course, had to add some glitter. Love this clutch!

The shorts are from True Freedom via Sears.

Which look is your favorite? Now, go buy a pair! Can't beat $13.99!
