Southern Motherhood is LIVE!

I have some really exciting news! If you haven't heard already, Southern Motherhood Magazine is officially live! We have been keeping a secret for the past few months and I cannot be more thrilled to introduce you to this new adventure!

During  a beautiful dinner party with Beauty & Lifestyle Mommy Magazine that I posted about a few months back, Faythe (Founder) and Kate (Editor) shared the news that Southern Motherhood would be launching!

So what is Southern Motherhood?

Southern Motherhood is the South's premier blog that celebrates the modern mom. From style, beauty, home, to motherhood! We will be sharing stories and articles that will give you all kinds of inspiration!

Savannah Mommy Bloggers Dinner with Beauty & Lifestyle Magazine

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to a dinner with Beauty & Lifestyle Magazine. It was such a great evening surrounded by amazing company. One of the unexpected things about becoming a mom is the other moms you meet. There's so much we share that no one else quite understands as well as we do.

Dinner was so delicious and dessert was divine. I mean, take a look at that cake! It's like a work of art!

Last weekend I had the opportunity to meet- up with some other bloggers in the Savannah area. I remember last year when I was searched through the hashtag #savannahblogger  not many were using the tag so it has been fun getting to meet more and more bloggers in my home town.

After a long week it was so nice to have a girls night out and meet-up with friends and meet some new ones too! We met up before our dinner reservations to take some outfit and group photos then had dinner at The Collins Quarter.

I wasn't able to go out with the other girls after dinner but I am hoping last Saturday was just one of many nights we will get together! Definitely go check out all the ladies over on Instagram and give their blogs a follow too!

#IGinSAV Recap

This past weekend was too much fun! I've finally had a chance to get my photos organized so I could write this post. After our brunch on Sunday I focused on spending time with my family since I was super busy meeting some awesome blogger babes all weekend!

Friday night kicked off at the Kendra Scott give back party benefiting the Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children's Hospital of Savannah! The turn-out was great and I was able to meet some fabulous new friends. It was so nice meeting Instagrammers and bloggers I follow. 

My sister won the Kendra Scott raffle! You can check her out at @cecilia_ontherun!

Sarah at @sarah_i_mccann was adorable. I was blessed to meet her sweet family during the weekend too!

Then Saturday night Megan and I rewarded ourselves for all our efforts in making the weekend happen.

Sunday ended with brunch at Soho South Café. 

We cannot wait to host another event in the future. Hopefully everyone who attended enjoyed themselves as much as we did. It's been so awesome meeting new faces and building friendships. After all, I would not have met Megan if it were not for Instagram!

Happy Tuesday, friends! I woke up thinking today was Wednesday. I don't know about you but I'm already wishing it was the weekend. Since sunshine is in our forecast here in Savannah for the rest of the week I'm thinking a pool/beach day is in my future.

Every Day I'm Tasselin'

I've got a serious case of the tassel-obsession lately. I can't get enough of the trend this summer and I'm throwing it all at you in today's outfit!

When I saw this grey tassel tee I picked it up right away. I love the fun detail and it pairs easily with my white skinnies. I added tassel earrings, purse and shoes too in case my obsession was not clear.

This is a fun casual look for the summer! I'm ready for a fun date night or brunch! Are you loving the tassel trend too?
