It's been fun seeing her personality unfold, she's so different from her sister! She is feisty and very determined. She is playful and mischievous. I love the look she gives when she knows she's doing something naughty. Hard to get mad at that face! Her cheeks are always asking to be sniffed or kissed!
She says a few words but she understands a lot already. She loves anything musical and loves to dance and clap her hands. She's walking now and gets into everything! I love her sloppy kisses and her snorts when you make her laugh! She loves to be chased and always wants to play with her big sister!
Noah had to go on a business trip on her birthday (boo) but I took the day off so we could spend it doing something fun. The day started with story time at the library. Patty always takes them every week and Ava really looks forward to it so we went. Then we went to visit Santa. Bass Pro always offer free photos with Santa. Ava didn't want to go near Santa but I managed to get Lily to sit with him!
Then we took them to Chuck E Cheese for lunch. The only time I'll ever go here is if its the middle of the day on a weekday while kids are still in school. It was nice. We had the whole place to ourselves. We got home and all of us took naps :) It was nice.
This past Sunday we celebrated with our family over lunch and cake. Here are some of my favorites:
