DIY Lipstain Coffee Mugs

I've been swooning over this lip tease mug for awhile now and after recently reading Caitlyn's blog post (found here) I was inspired for this afternoon's little do-it-yourself project! What's better than one tutorial? This one too by Evelyn Henson.

I liked the idea of having the gold against a clear glass but I'm not much of a wine drinker so I was happy when I came across some $2 clear mugs at Wal-Mart yesterday!

Supplies needed:
glass or mug
lip printable
scissors
painter's tape
paint pen

First, I printed out Evelyn Henson's beautiful lip sketch turn printable. Then, I cut out some different options to see which one I preferred on the glass.

I used some painter's tape to hold the lip cut-out in place. I felt like I needed both hands. I get nervous okay?  :)  Next, I used the paint pen to trace in a zig-zag pattern over the cut-out.

All of 3 seconds later, Voila!

I was so happy with how it turned out I made two! And I want to give one to a lucky follower! And along with it, all the goodies below too!

Love in the Air

I've been bombarded with Valentine's Day reminders everywhere but I'm totally okay with it all. I love all the hearts, the pink and reds, the glitter, confetti, sweets, you name it! Here are just some of my favorites to get ready for the day of love!

Let me break it down for you!

This Valentine's Day Package from one of my favorite etsy shops-- Pearls and Pastries
Aren't those sequin hangers gorgeous! I own a gold one but these are so lovely and festive!

I love these hair clips that double as brooches! Such a fun accent piece!

I love funny cards. This one is perfect! No mushy cards for my boo and me! I love these cards from Julie Ann Art on Etsy. Her business cards say it all "You won't find this shit at Hallmark!"

These stack-able L-O-V-E rings are perfect year round from Forever 21

This pic courtesy of Hasouts' IG account covers two things-- my love of macarons and my love for this bracelet! It comes with lots of letters so you can create so many possibilities!

Tell me you don't love all of this stuff from hello apparel! I'm obsessed with these leggings!

I recently discovered these adorable garlands from Studio Mucci! This would be a great addition to my office space even after Valentine's Day!

Another great find from Forever 21. polka-dots and girly lips!

Don't you just want it all?? Me too.... me too!

Glitter and Bows: 1 Pair of Shoes 3 Ways

When I first saw these flats in a fellow IGer's feed, I was smitten with the glitter and bows. They reminded me of something in a Kate Spade collection. I was happier to find out they were on sale too! I got them for $20 from Just Fab (FYI; if you plan on ordering a pair for yourself, the run big, so order at least a half size smaller).

At first I didn't know what I could wear with them but after playing around in my closet, I found no problem putting outfits together. Here are just three looks that worked well with these fabulous shoes!

Look 1
Plaid shirt: Target, Camisole: Forever 21, Jeans: TJ Maxx, Necklace: gifted from Hand Picked

I have always been a matchy matchy girl but this for this look I threw that out the window. Why not add some sparkle to this outfit!

Look 2
Striped button down: JCPenney, Pants: Forever 21, Necklace: Very Jane, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelet: Ily Couture
This was an easy look I could wear to the office. I love how the necklace ties this outfit together.

Look 3
Vest: Old Navy, Sweater: Gap, Pants: H&M, Necklace: Groopdealz

I've been such a fan of vest this season. I love the hot pink as it easily adds a pop of color. It goes perfectly with these shoes! I paired it with a cobalt colored statement necklace and I love that it gets it's own attention!

Which look is your favorite?
