Winter Trends

This weekend I snagged some my favorites from this year's winter trends!



1. Green military jacket. 2. Plaid shirt. 3. Faux fur vest

Old navy has been making me very happy lately. We went there to get the girls jackets since its getting colder and we will be visiting Virginia after Christmas.

Ava loves her new jacket!

Today's Confessionals

Dear readers, it's been never since my last blog confession...

1. People are already putting up Christmas trees and decor. It's not even Thanksgiving yet! Did this happen last year too? Because I don't remember! No wonder the year seems like its going by fast!

2. When I go Christmas shopping I always manage to find something to buy myself :/

3. I am wearing my maternity leggings on today. No shame here. They are just super comfy! Actually I still wear a couple of my maternity tops too!

4. I get so happy when I get Instagram notifications and blog comments :) #thanksfortheegoboost:)

5. I am bad at drinking water and had two cokes today (don't tell hubby)

6. Stuffed my face with office potluck fixins and still managed to have pie and banana pudding. Oink! Oink!

Ok glad I could get that off my chest. I'll recite many Hail Marys now...

Best Friends are Forever!

I had such a great night out with my oldest and best friend tonight. We've been friends since second grade and we've been inseparable ever since.

I've been so lucky. I've had the same core group of friends since grade school and no matter the time apart or how many miles apart, it's like we have never left each other when we get together. And that's no exception with Mandy :)

We live in the same time but with our busy schedules its tough to get together. So when we get together its very special :)

Tonight I introduced her to macarons and we ate dinner at Chili's, so romantical lol!

We talked and laughed over all kinds of topics. It was a nice night without the kids and the hubs. A girl needs that every once in awhile!




Our 21st birthday. Our birthdays are a day apart :)

What I Wore Wednesday {wiww}

Sometimes finding something to wear can be stressful but I've been having more and more fun putting outfits I've never worn together.

I dressed up one of my most comfy t-shirts with a skirt and blazer.


I've been seeing this oxblood color everywhere. I layered it with a leopard blouse, one of my favorite gold necklaces, and my DIY cap toe glitter heels :)


This was my lazy outfit of the week. But I did try to dress it up a bit with this gorgeous ivory bib necklace.


I've been really loving fun prints and fell in love with this bird print dress. I also fell in love with the price, $8!!! What is also great about this is I can wear it in the summer too! Here is how I incorporated it in my fall wardrobe.



I have two of these bauble necklaces and they are the perfect accent to any outfit! I would take one in every color! And who could go wrong with polka dots?
