Donut Worry, Be Happy

I have a thing for sprinkled donuts. There is just something so fun and happy about this print. When I saw January Hart's Instagram/blog post with this skirt I was totally "Smitten" and knew I wanted it immediately. 

January was super sweet and she had no problem with making my skirt a few inches longer. I bought this Target sweater a few weeks ago and it was a match made in donut heaven! 

When the skirt arrived in the mail I squealed with delight! 

My friend Dawn was nice enough to snap some shots of me the other day. Of course I left all my jewels at home. Oh well. These donuts make the outfit anyway!

Belk's Girls' Night Out Event Recap #HappyHours

This past Friday was such a fun event! It was my first social event and I think it was an amazing experience. Everyone from Belk and Everywhere were so nice and friendly. The other bloggers were were so nice and we had a great time walking around and interacting with everyone. The turn out was great and I was so happy to see some many of my followers come out to show their support!

Chip & Pepper Foster, of Chip & Pepper brand were there as well. Both brothers are high energy but they totally commanded everyone's attention and sold so many jeans. I know I bought a pair! They happily took pictures with everyone and even autographed our denim!

The henna station and flash tattoos were a huge hit with everyone. The designs were beautiful and I was obsessed with my flash tattoos!

Ladies were walking around with food from Blowin' Smoke BBQ and I was able to taste some yummy mac n' cheese and pumpkin spice cheesecake balls! There was a cool fotobar where Instagram photos were printing out as keepsakes. It was so cool!

I also tasted some brews from Southbound Brewery. I'm not much of a beer drinker but the beer was light and yummy!

All in all I think the whole event was a success! I hope to be invited to more events like these because it was a positive learning experience!
