Girly Nails with Glitter Details

I saw this on @superficialgirl's Instagram photo and loved her bubble gum pink glitter nails so I had to try it!

This was the photo. So girly right?



Mine is a tad different but i just worked with the polishes i had at home.

This is how my version came out!





These are the colors I used:


Essie: sugar daddy
Ulta: spring dance
Pure Ice: spit fire

How to get the look?
1) two coats of the darker pink
2) one coat of the glossy pink
3) wait for your nails to dry
4) carefully use the glitter to paint the tops of your nails closest to the cuticle to create a half-moon shape. May take a couple coats.
5) finish with a top coat once nails are completely dry (so the glitter doesn't run down your nails with the top coat)

It was pretty simple and I was so pleased with the outcome! I love to try new colors and designs! And it doesn't have to be perfect, just have fun!

Fur Vest

The guys in my office have been calling me Chewbacca all day. They obviously don't share the same appreciation for fur vests like I do.




Clearly, I'm not that tall...

Got to love Pinterest for giving me so much inspiration. All I have to do is put in a simple search for fur vest and viola!

I love that the pictures are often linked to blogs too, because 1) I love finding new bloggers to follow and 2) I like to give credit where credit is due!
