Pinspired: DIY Glitter Hanger

I saw this cute Pin browsing on Pinterest and fell in love. Glitter and gold? sign me up! It's the perfect way to display a beautiful print and would go great in my office space. I clicked and it sent me to an awesome tutorial by Sarah!  The tutorial calls for glitter paper. I didn't have any handy, so I used spray adhesive and glitter, what I did have on hand.

Supplies Needed:
trouser hanger
spray adhesive
glitter
metallic spray paint

1. I bought a 2-pk of the trouser hangers. I laid a trash bag down, but you may want to lay it on a cardboard or thick piece of paper to avoid the paint sticking to the plastic (a mistake I made lol!)

2. Next, I used metallic gold spray paint to cover the entire hanger. I let it dry and sprayed the other side.

 3.  The next step was to add the glitter. I used the spray adhesive as instructed and then sprinkled the glitter on one side of each of the hangers.

4. I shook off the excess glitter and let the glitter dry.

The finished product!

I loved how they turned out. I plan to hang them in my office nook and display some of my favorite pictures/prints!

Floral Inspired Spring Looks

Spring doesn't officially begin until March but I'm having a bit of spring fever already. I am ready for warmer temps and the flowers to bloom!

Speaking of flowers, I was approached by ProFlowers to share some floral inspired spring looks. I ordered flowers from them for my wedding and was very pleased so I jumped on the chance to plan some fun outfits.

I used some of my favorite flowers to inspire the following three outfits: orchids, tulips and roses!

Look 1: Radiant Orchid
This seemed appropriate since radiant orchid was named Pantone's color of the year. I love how vibrant this color is, it made outfit planning so much fun. This shade looks great on just about any skin tone. I love everything about this outfit from the beautiful ornate necklace to the ripped boyfriend jeans.

Look 2: Spring Showers
I thought an outfit for April showers was a must. Rain boots have been so popular and ever since I bought my first pair last year I wonder why I never owned them before? They are both practical and stylish. They instantly make a great accent to an outfit. This whole look makes rainy days much more bearable (I hate rain)! Mind as well look cute, right?

Look 3: Blush and Mint
I love this romantic and whimsical look inspired by these beautiful roses.  I knew tulle and pearls had to be incorporated somehow. And one of my favorite color combos lately has been mint and pink. It's so girly. I add a few more girly touches like this ring, bright pink brooch and a bow belt.

I created these looks using the Polyvore iPhone app. Check it out to find all the details!

Which look is your favorite??

I just love how Stella & Dot's COO, Blythe Harris, dressed up this simple outfit with the Fleurette Statement Necklace!

I seriously cannot stop admiring the Zora Crystal Necklace. It's the epitome of a statement piece!

Nothing better than a good arm party! I really want to add the gold sparkle bracelet (far right). It's such a versatile bracelet and adds so much sparkle! Not to mention, it goes perfectly with the Somervell necklace I own already!

All the prints of these poufs are so fun. I could probably use a new makeup bag. I'm think the leopard one, what about you?

Check out these two deals too, when you spend $50 or more, get these items half off!!

What I Wore Wednesday {wiww}

We are enjoying a "snow" day here in Savannah. They were expecting snow today and of course, everything was immediately closed. No school, no work... also no snow.... For my kids' sake, I hope it snows for a little bit so they can see it.

Anyway, the closet remix challenge I participated in is coming to an end. I did good not shopping for a whole month and remixing items in my closet. Below are some of the outfits from Days 16 to now.
