What I Wore Wednesday {wiww}

Happy Wednesday! And Happy Halloween! I'll add another post for our trick-r-treating fun but right now I'm linking up with Lindsay from The Pleated Poppy for this week's wiww.

I love being inspired from pictures I find of fashionable women online. It makes me think about what I have in my closet and how I can find outfits I would never otherwise put together. Here are three examples:

Not sure if I just look like a homeless person but this outfit was super comfy. I need to own more colored tights, love them!




It had been chilly this week so I've been layering like crazy. Savannah weather is finicky. Mornings are cold and by the afternoon it's hot again so layering is key.

Birthday Fun {Camille Turns 8!}

This past Sunday my niece, Camille, turned 8 years old.




Where does the time go? I remember her like this like it was yesterday!
The party turned out great. My sister transformed my parents' house into CandyLand. My teeth ache just looking at this display!




Parents, the secret to a successful birthday party? It's a no brainer---




It tires the kids out and naps are guaranteed!




Ava had a blast and Lily loved this thing too!










Ava was old enough to partake in the moonwalk game and she even won!



I'll be needing to plan this little lady's first birthday soon! I can't believe my baby is turning 1 already. We found a second tooth yesterday! Just another reminder everything starts changing! I know it all happening really fast after that first birthday! Ava won't even let me call her my baby. She's a "big girl!"

Weekend Wrap-up

Friday we stayed in and worked on crafts. Ava and I made festive Halloween pencil toppers.


Patty helped me with my first sewing project, burp cloths.


We discovered a tooth (even though you can barely see it)!


What I wore to a friend's baby shower on Saturday.


The mom-to-be, Kathryn. Her mom threw such a nice shower! The food was so good and it was so nice to catch up! Can't wait ti meet baby G!


I fell in love with her mom's house! It was right on the water and the backyard was gorgeous! Mrs. Judy even let me come back to take pictures with the girls the next day!


Sunday: This is me with Ava on the swing in the Monroe's backyard. More pictures on our little shoot in the next post.


Can't forget about this little guy. He's still as cute as he can be.

We survived! It seemed like a long week for me! Maybe because my better half was off on a work trip and I missed him. Glad he's home now!
